this year, i decided to go beyond the usual mish mash of christmas wrapping paper with bows slapped on by the kids. i started with solid wrapping paper (gravel, pool & chartruese) from paper source, then added ribbon (red & yellow) and lots of string. i used my slice to cut designs from shipping tags, and then stamped the to and from on them. i also mixed in some tags from friend denise's etsy shop. i loved how they all looked under the christmas tree - so simple.
more wrapping.. these are my gifts for our handmade gift exchange tonight w/ the bagels... we've known about this since october and did ANY of us start projects before this week? of course not. ha. i'll share the projects tomorrow. =)
we've been enjoying a lot of downtime together.. matthew had all of last week off. the bigs have been busy building legos and playing new wii games, and sam has been enjoying having his brothers around. the cold that sam and i had at christmas is slowly spreading through the house - we're not enjoying THAT so much. =(
we did manage to get out a bit this weekend - we went to the zoo lights display at the zoo. it was cold, but we had fun. =)
today is more laziness, plus a trip to the ped for sam - he had fluid in his ears on friday, but they weren't infected yet. well, he's not any better today, so we're going back in.
