it's finally here. open windows. sunshine. no coats!! alex started little league practice last night (we're still waiting to hear from ben's coach). $1 drinks are back at mcd's. playground time after school. all this is happy.
i had intended to share some pics from alex's bday by now... but he ended his bday weekend by getting a wicked stomach bug, so my week's been a bit scattered so far. thought i was getting back on track, but sam threw up as soon as we walked into paradise bakery for bagels w/ the girls this morning, soooooooo.. yeah. lots of snuggles and disinfecting going on around here.
i *do* have a page i can share, though. =)
this one is a whole lot of studio calico homefront & anthology. the background is misted w/ turquoise maya mist, and my fave pinked circle stamp (as well as the houses from whacky shack) are stamped in pumice stone. i love that those houses fit in the blown fuse paper!! the blue starburst pp is backing from the rubon packaging. i also used fiskars apron lace, L twinkle twinkle and M round n round punches.
also - the spring issue of scrapbook and cards today is now available at their website. i've got a couple of pages inside, including a cover option. =) i was honored to be asked to contribute a page to be considered for the cover, and catherine and her team were a dream too work with. their submission calls for the summer issue end today - you can find what they're looking for here. this is an awesome publication - i got my first look at their print copies when my pages came home, and it's definitely top notch!!
