he is so my boy.. once he starts a book he doesn't come up for air until it's done. it's not always the best trait to have - it has a tendency to get in the way of real life. in fact, i lost most of early monday to the first percy jackson book. alex has been reading the series and left that one sitting out, and i picked it up and got sucked in. i have the second one on hold at the library - he's about the start the fourth one. we won't talk about all the other things both of us really ought to be doing. ;)
it's thursday already - can you believe it? sam and i have a post pre-school lunch date w/ one of his best buds (who's now going to his school, YAY!) & his mom. then we're hitting the old navy cardholder appreciation event. before that, though, i have to SCRAP. so much to do, and time is running out.
how about another little state fair sneak peek?? totally loving the new veneer buttons. =) the photo is by becky novacek, and is one of my favorites. the colors were perfect for the line! the mist on the background is lemonade - it's the light yellow i've been dreaming of.
oh! my friend doris sander has an article on using snowflakes on your pages, and she's used a few of my pages as examples. lots of good ideas over there - check it out! we've got some new snow on the ground - do you??
have a good day, everyone!
