how about a few more candy shoppe peeks?? i'm so excited for the full reveal of this kit - it definitely ranks up there with my favorites. here's a little run down of what i did with it for the gallery:
1 2pager, 3 1pagers
16 photos total
2 winter pages, 2 summer pages
i have also been stealing little bits and pieces of it for other assignments i've been working on - i can't get enough of these colors!
(candy shoppe + fiskars cloud in L and XL + versamark ink + white embossing powder + tiny attacher + mister huey's lunch tray + mister huey's sunshine +maya road iridescent pearl + slice & handwritten cart + foam adhesive + bumpy road punch)
that green and blue dot is an SC exclusive, and one of my favorite patterns this month. the yellow is a crate exclusive - i sprayed it with sunshine mist to make it a bit darker so the title would be more readable. lunch tray is a perfect shade for a water splashed look on this shade of blue cardstock - love the effect.
(candy shoppe + pulled taffy + lollipop + circle punch + L and XL cloud punches + tumbled glass ink + mister huey's calico white + foam adhesive)
lovelovelove the clouds. LOVE. i sprayed some light aqua patterned paper with calico white, then stamped over it w/ tumbled glass. love the soft tones. i popped them w/ foam adhesive over the mme cloud patterned paper. that sun peeking out is what inspired this whole page.
(candy shoppe + pulled taffy + lollipop + mister huey's calico white + mister huey's bluegrass + vintage doily punch + slice & noteworthy cart + tiny attacher)
this 2pager did NOT come easily. i don't even know how many times i walked away from it. i finally got it to behave and am rather happy with how it turned out! if you peek at my other sneak of this page, you'll see that i used cardstock for the left page and this subtle blue crate print for the right. love that look.
also - i set out on a little mission yesterday - knowing that that pickle + seed packet are an awesome match, i played with my inks and the new mist colors to find some more combos. i used my XL cloud punch and the stamp from the upcoming candy shoppe for these - totally a fun way to mix mist + stamps.
from top to bottom :
one more little thing - a super quick gift wrap idea. a bag from a kit, a shipping tag, some washi tape and one of the BIG veneer stars that i can never manage to work onto a page. perfect. we had a baby shower for kelly's daughter last night, and i got the new mama and boy some of our favorite books.
and last but not least, my blog hop winner!!! thank you all for taking the time to leave such sweet comments - i enjoyed reading all of them! random.org and some careful counting say that Amy Scalze is my winner! Amy, please email me at lisa(dot)truesdell(at)gmail.com. =)
that's all for today - happy wednesday!
