i guess i'm starting november off with a bang - i have ANOTHER giveaway! the fabulous miss kelly purkey has a new class, and one of my lucky readers will get to take it for free.
Sketchpad is a brand-new class from Kelly Purkey, spinning off from her series of successful Sketchbook classes. Sketchpad is a downloadable, self-paced class featuring 12 original sketches, 35 exclusive layouts from Kelly + and her talented contributors, 35 MORE sketches made from those layouts, and 12 amazing cards based on the sketches from the talented, Kristina Werner... all in a full-color 75 page PDF. Visit Kelly's blog for more details on the class and how to purchase.
a tiny sneak of my project is pictured above (it's the one on the left) - but here's a slightly different view (and yes, i broke out the heirloom blue mist again. and the ampersand mask. it's a sickness) :
i've had a chance to page through this class and it's amazing - and i can't wait to giveaway a spot in it to one of you! just leave a comment here for a chance to win - i'll announce a winner on tuesday. good luck!
with all of these giveaways, i've gotten behind in sharing other things. i had a project go up at 2peas on monday, and i wanted to share that halloween scrapping inspiration here. the christmas displays might be going up at stores, but i'm not ready to move on. ;)

my boys always have very specific ideas of how they want their pumpkins carved, so i wanted to make sure to record last year's designs. don't mind alex in his photo, he was doing a pretty mean imitation of ben's pumpkin last halloween, poor kid. he came outside long enough to give final approval, add the eye patch, and humor me for a photo. not fun!

and here's a look at this year's (still unscrapped) pumpkins -
sam with his scary scraggly toothed pumpkin
ben with his vampire pumpkin
and alex with his portal pumpkin.
happy thursday!! after a gray and wet (and a little snowy) day yesterday, i'm thrilled that the sun is shining. sam and i are sticking close to home today - lots of playing and maybe a little cleaning. i've also got a week's worth of photos printed and ready to go into my project life album. should be a good day. =)
