let's talk stamps. specifically, the new studio calico designs released with hero arts. you can see them here or here. i was lucky enough to get my hands on all of them and get them inky right away to make some samples for the hero arts booth at cha.
i was in love with the plano stamp when it first popped up in a county fair add-on - it's definitely one that i'll use over and over and over. i stamped it in blue on a few different papers, then used it as a guide to cut rays (i misted the text paper with shine) and arranged them in a starburst. i used stamps from the airmail and please note sets on the accent circles.
i couldn't resist making a confetti card. i mixed punched confetti and veneer astericks with larger circle stamps with vehicles from the airmail set - the tag and sentiment come from that set as well. the number border is from the please note set.
the days stamps are back!! these will be a go to for my project life, but i love them for cards as well. i stamped them in a stack, then cut out the middles of letters and backed them with different colors of patterned paper. i added the girl + word bubble from please note and sentiment from wonderful world to finish the card.
i had fun mixing and matching more of my favorite stamps on these tags. i used two of the new backgrounds on the tags, then added stamped images, punched paper & veneer astericks to finish them off. i think these would look cute on a wrapped gift.
happy thursday! i was just telling a mom at preschool yesterday that we've been pretty lucky with avoiding sick kids this winter... and then sam woke up at 4am with an upset tummy. needless to say, we're taking it easy today.
