after all sorts of unseasonably warm weather, we finally have winter! there was much snowball fighting, sledding and snowflake catching this weekend. and a fair amount of hot chocolate and snuggling under blankets, too.
once we got everyone inside and into dry clothes, we watched the second harry potter movie. i know we're WAY late to this one - the bigs have seen all 8, sam has seen 1 & 2, and matthew had seen most of 7 and all of 8. we started the series as a family on new year's eve and i'm enjoying it. i'm planning to start reading book 1 soon - i've read the last half of book 5 and the start of book 6 to ben, and i'm thinking i ought to try and catch up with myself.
happy monday! i'm off to work on project life while the house is empty. i've enjoyed a little break from scrapping after the pre-CHA chaos, but it's time to get back to it all.
