file this one under "i hope he realizes how cool this is." i mean, seriously. this is the arizona wildcats baseball team, in town for the college world series, with the memorial little league arizona wildcats. and that just rocks.
our CWS fun started with fanfest last thursday. the boys set up in the stands to watch the arizona practice, and mama got in the autograph line to hold our spot.
ben had them sign his game ball from a couple weeks ago. they all loved his ball uniform. ;)
and on sautrday, ben's team got to watch the wildcats practice. #26 here was great w/ the kids - totally talking them up and joking around with them.
the big cats let the little cats shag balls between batting session... which the kids thought was awesome.
and ben ended the weekend along with matthew, alex and grandpa, watching arizona win their second CWS game.
as baseball weekends go, it couldn't get much better. well, maybe if the little cats had won that last game and made it into the playoffs... but it was a good season. we'll take it. =)
