it's that time again - the CHA winter show opens tomorrow! i haven't had too much of a chance to check out many of the sneaks yet, so i'm even more excited to get a chance to see it all. what's caught your eye so far?
the studio calico releases are all up on the blog - they've got three new lines, here + there, snippets and sundrifter, and some additions to the handbook lineup. from working with these lines, i can tell you that i'm in love. i'm down to bits and pieces and can't wait to get my hands on more!!
i started out with my favorite of the three - here + there. i love the diecuts that come with this line.
snippets is full of fun colors and patterns - and lots of basic grids.
the sundrifter line was perfect for photos from our lake vacation! and hello, itty bitty wood veneer shapes.
i got to mix all three lines together and have a little fun on this page.
i put together a handbook using the here + there line. i decided to use it to record our vacations to lake edward and chicago last year. i covered the raw chipboard album with chalkboard paint. and then after a few failed attempts to seal chalk so it could stand up to CHA handling, i opted to draw on it with a white oil pastel.
and then i made one more page at the last minute to help show off the new two step mask from sundrifter - this design is a lot of fun!
i head to CA tomorrow - feeling a little nervous about that because the littlest dude has a stomach bug. i don't like the idea of being so far from home when any of my boys aren't feeling well. =( i'll be at the show sunday, monday and tuesday, so say hi if you see me!
