CHA time is always a bit of a tease. here's all this fabulous! new! product! ... that you can't have yet. HMPH. well, i'm happy to report that the wait is over for two of the new Studio Calico releases - thataway and storytime are up in the SC shop! here's what i made with these lines :
play ball | thataway : i couldn't decide what papers i wanted to use, so i went with a starburst so i could use a bunch of them. ;) i took one of the stitched pockets and added a photo, tag and some confetti before attching it to my page. and the chalkboard accents add a nice pop against all of the brighter colors.
honk | thataway : this cloud paper may be one of my favorite patterns EVER. i just had to use it as a background, and layered two other faves (the orange text strips and gray arrows) over it to create a mat for my photos, title and an embellished tag. one of the vellum envelopes made a perfect spot for some confetti, and i popped one of the photos up on foam adhesive for a bit more dimension.
pep talk | storytime : storytime grows up!! this line is about more than just itty bitty babies. for this page, i paired the cloud paper (love), with the plastic clouds and a punched paper cloud, and then added the sunshine from thataway and a few stars.
to the moon & back | storytime : when i started to pull photos together for my CHA projects, i realized that matthew had taken the server that holds all of our older photos offline. since i couldn't get to baby pics of my own boys quickly, i emailed someone i knew would have a few extra. ;) thanks for letting me scrap your adorable boys, april! i started this page by building a background with 4 6x6 papers, overlapping them slightly. i matted each of the photos and placed them on top, and then added embellishments to finish the page.
