I'm excited that my Color Studio class is part of the bundle. I taught it last March, and it dives into the whys behind color choices. We discuss eight different types of color combos, how to use them effectively, and how they can help support the mood and feel of your projects. Plus, there are some fun tips on diving into your kits and mixing and matching them into new color combos to keep things fresh. My feelings on the topic or color are definitely on the geeky side, and it was so fun to dive in and explore it in such depth! Here's a peek at my class projects :

Studio Calico's Park Ave

It's reveal day at Studio Calico......  and here's what I did with the Park Ave kits.

Yep. They're in their packaging, on my desk. On top of a mess.

November has seen my head hitting more hotel pillows than my own. I started the month with a trip to Bowling Green for planning meetings on a new website, then we went to Disney, and now we're in Des Moines with family for Thanksgiving.

The handful of days I've had at home have been spent packing and unpacking and dealing with laundry and homework and trying to catch up on work. So, sadly, for the first time since October 2009... I don't have a gallery up at reveal. I do have to say that I'm loving what the rest of the Creative Team did with it, and I can't wait to open these kits and start using them!

I am thankful for the moments of wonder. For the shows and rides and parades. For being together. For good meals and awesome snacks. For the silliness and the crazy that Disney seems to inspire. 

I am thankful for the magic they bring to my everyday, and for how it was turned up to 11 for 9 awesome days.
